Markus's Lamb Burgers

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 cup whole pitted Kalamata olives
  • ½ cup Feta cheese (crumbled chunky)
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • Pita Bread (preferably non perforated)
  • ½ cucumber (sliced)
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • 1 handful of Arugula
  • 1 cup Tzatziki sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
  2. Coarsely chop the Kalamata olives.
  3. Mix together the first five ingredients.
  4. Form the mixture into patties.
  5. Cut the top off the Pita bread just wide enough to fit the burger inside.
  6. Grill the Lamb Burger Patties for 10 minutes.
  7. Grill the Pita bread for just a couple minutes to heat up (preferably on upper level of the grill).
  8. Assemble the Lamb Burger inside in the Pita with the sliced tomato, cucumber, arugula and a few dollops of Tzatziki sauce.
