This recipe is just too easy! Just a sprinkling of lavender brings out a playful aromatic essence. I like to serve this with grilled chicken or sausages for a light summer weekday meal. Pair with a bottle of our chilled Verdejo.
Ingredients
  • Pineapple
  • Honey
  • Dried Lavender
Instructions
  1. Peel, core and cut up the pineapple into long strips or rounds.
  2. Heat the grill and rub the pineapple with a high heat resistant cooking oil like grapeseed oil or vegetable oil.
  3. Grill until the edges are slightly charred.
  4. Meanwhile warm the honey and drizzle on top.
  5. Sprinkle dried lavender on top and garnish with fresh mint for a touch of green.
Notes
Make sure to select a ripe golden pineapple for maximum sweetness!

This Spanish honey was a gift from Markus’s cousin, Joan. It’s made from Rosemary flowers.

The Verdejo makes a perfect pairing. Even the label matches!
